Lt Col Monish Ahuja (Retd.) is currently the Managing Director of Punjab Renewable Energy Systems Private Limited(PRESPL). He is an alumnus of the prestigious National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune. Post Graduate (M. Tech) in Nuclear Technology from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in 2006. Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from JNU in 2002, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from JNU in 1994. He is known in the Biomass fraternity as a dedicated and knowledgeable leader. He is bestowed with the “Biomass Energy Man of the Year Award”,2013 and has numerous other awards to his credit; the most recent being Mission Innovation National Champion 2019.

Col Sumeet joined PRESPL as Chief Technical Officer in Feb 2019. A veteran of the Kargil War and numerous Counter Insurgency Operations, he has immense expertise in Operations & Project Management. Some of these operations/projects have been executed in the most difficult terrains in the world over a career spanning 24 years in the Army, Defence Research & Development Organisation and the RE sector. An NDA Alumni & B.Tech from JNU, he has experience of managing high value Strategic Defence Projects while serving with the DRDO. He has certification in Defence & Strategic Studies, Senior Level Defence Management, Quality Management and Assurance and NABET Accredited Internal Auditor Training Course on Environmental, Health and Safety Statutory Compliance, CII. Awarded Sena Medal (Gallantry) by the President of India for exceptional courage in eliminating hardcore terrorists and also awarded Mention-in-Despatches, in addition to being awarded Wound Medal.
