Col. Pronob Kumar Roy (Veteran) is the Chief Operating Officer at PRESPL, India’s leading integrated biomass supply chain and bioenergy company.An Indian Army Veteran with over 32 years of distinguished service, he brings a rare blend of military precision, global operational strategy, and sustainability leadership.A decorated officer and former Deputy Chief of Integrated Support Staff with the United Nations Mission in Haiti, Col. Roy has led large-scale logistics, infrastructure, and relief operations in high-pressure environments. At PRESPL, he drives pan-India operations, including biomass procurement, supply chain management, and decarbonization initiatives - enabling cleaner energy adoption across industries and MSMEs.Academically accomplished, he holds degrees in Chemistry, Electronics Engineering, Strategic Management, and Operational Art, alongside certifications in project and financial management. As a mentor at institutions like IIMs, NIFM, and USI Delhi, Col. Roy is widely respected for his thought leadership in sustainability and operational excellence.<meta>
